Welcome Message from the Dean
Dear Fellow Workers in Christ,
May the grace and peace of God be with you.
I warmly welcome you to Yewon Graduate School of Theology.
Our institution is committed to training experts in addressing the challenges posed by cults that threaten both individuals and churches worldwide. The spread of such movements has caused serious harm to families and society, even interfering with global missions.
To counter this growing issue, we have established Korea’s first master’s and doctoral programs in Cult Counseling Theology and Cult Counseling Missiology. These programs aim to equip pastors, missionaries, and church leaders with the knowledge and tools to protect the faith community and restore those led astray.
The task of confronting cults is not merely academic but a vital mission for the church today. We believe that through your commitment and study, you can become a leader in defending the truth and safeguarding the global church.
